The Ark-La-Tex hosts many celebrations and parties for the Irish holiday. Some are family friendly events. Since St. Patrick’s Day is on a Thursday, several businesses planned their events the weekend before.

THURSDAY, MARCH 10

Lucky Pillow 10:00am

The Muses: Celtic Spring 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Storytime: The Night Before St. Patrick’s Day 11:00am

St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl 3:00pm - 11:00pm

St. Patrick’s Day SLAM 10:00am

Wear your green athletic wear and get ready to “Sweat Like A Mother” with the SLAM group of Shreveport/Bossier. If it is your first class, it is free. Details can be found at their Facebook page.

St. Patrick’s Day Spring Special Express 11:00am-2:30pm (Also on March 18-19)

Take a trip on the railroad on a gas powered locomotive on the Historic Jefferson Railway. For tickets and info, click here.

St. Patty’s Day Party 5:00-pm - 8:00pm

Celebrate good times with green beer and loaded potatoes surrounded by some of the coolest hogs on the road. For more info, click here.

Saint Paddy’s Pairings and Pours 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Five area restaurants are coming together for this fundraiser benefitting local Scouts. With each meal course comes a paired whiskey. Plus music, silent auction and fun. For more info, click here.

St. Patrick’s Day Dance 6:00pm - 10:00pm

7th Annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K & 10K 8:00am

After a Covid pause, the popular race takes place in the Highland neighborhood. Proceeds go towards a scholarship program and other organizations at Barksdale Air Force Base. For more info and to register, click here.

St. Paddy’s Fest 9:00am-2:00am

It’s one of the largest local only music parties of the year with over 20 musical acts spread out over the day. Plus lots of food and drinks. See the list of performers here.

7th Annual NYP Pub Crawl 3:00pm - 9:00pm

Party with lots of good food and drinks along Front Street. In addition, the crawl is also a poker run with prizes. For more info, click here.
